As part of a regional agreement, Dreher Breweries has signed a vPPA with Enery for renewable electricity

Dreher Sörgyárak Zrt., part of Asahi Europe & International (AEI), and Enery announce the formalization of a 10-year virtual cross-border Power Purchase Agreement (VPPA), which marks an additional step towards sustainability.
Commencing January 2025, Enery will provide certified renewable electricity to Dreher Sörgyárak Zrt., based on the contracted annual volume of approximately 14 GWh. This landmark agreement represents the second virtual Power Purchase Agreement between Enery and the subsidiaries of Asahi Europe & International. This supports the development of renewable asset in Central and Eastern Europe.

In Enery’s comm only: The cooperation, given the innovative contract structure, is unique for the CEE region due to the cross-border nature of agreement as the asset and off-taker are in different market zones, showcasing how companies can attain more significant carbon reduction on a regional level.
